It also cleans your skin and gives it a nice glow. Bleaching skin at an early age of about 20 years and below is known to be very harmful. Moreover, it has a lot of side effects on your skin. But, facial bleaching creams still remain a popular choice of many. Even after knowing the harmful effects of bleaching, these creams remain one of the preferred beauty treatments by women.
How to Bleach Facial Skin?
Facial bleach is easily available in the market. While a bleaching cream contains strong chemicals, its repeated use can prove harmful to your skin. The chemicals in bleach can also lead to strong reactions on some skin types. These creams contain a chemical called hydroquinone which removes the pigmentation on your skin surface and makes your skin clean and fairer. It also improves your complexion. Another ingredient is hydrogen peroxide that, along with other ingredients works in lightening unwanted hair. You can also find specially formulated bleaching creams for men. With the “instructions of use”, written on their package, bleaching creams are easy to use. But, still using them the right way is very essential. So, here are the steps that you must follow while bleaching your facial skin.
Step 1: Mix the contents of bleach pack as mentioned in the instruction leaflet. Use a plastic bowl and a plastic spatula to do so. Take a small quantity at a time. Mix the cream and activator powder for two minutes. Doing a patch test is an important bleaching tip. So, apply this mixture on a small skin patch below your ear. Leave it for the mentioned duration and wash off. Wait for a day or at least 6-8 hours before using the bleaching cream over entire facial skin.
Step 2: After the patch test, check whether your skin darkens, reddens, itches or a rash develops. If so, the face bleaching cream is not suitable for your skin. You can opt for a homemade skin bleach in this case.
Step 3: Before you bleach facial hair, clean your face with a cleansing lotion. Do not use face wash or soap for cleaning your skin before bleaching. Now wash it off with cold water and pat dry.
Step 4: Apply the bleaching cream over your face with a soft brush evenly and leave it for the required duration. Wash it off with cold water and gently dry your face with a soft towel.
Step 5: Mild itching or redness after bleaching is usual. You can apply a mild moisturizer or aloe vera gel after bleaching is done. Do not use soap on bleached skin for a day. Also, do not expose your skin to sunrays for 1-2 days.
