Brown Sugar with Almonds

Ingredients
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ground oatmeal
  • ¼ cup almond oil
  • ½ cup ground almonds
  • Small containers with lids
Process
Take a large bowl and mix all the ingredients in it, with the help of a spatula, until a paste-like texture is formed. If the mixture feels too dry, add a few more drops of almond oil, and if the scrub feels too oily, add half a tsp oatmeal or almond paste. The scrub is now ready for application. Apply the scrub, massaging your wet skin in a circular motion. Do not apply it to the face. Wash off with warm water.

Brown Sugar with Vitamin E

Ingredients
  • Vitamin E oil, 1 tsp
  • 1 tbsp orange oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup jojoba oil
Process
Take a glass bowl, add oil and sugar to it, mix well. Stir in jojoba oil until the desired consistency is acquired. Now add in vitamin E oil along with orange oil, mix until well blended and spoon in a glass container. Apply it on wet skin and let it rest for couple of minutes before rinsing it off.

Brown Sugar with Oatmeal

Ingredients
  • ¼ tsp essential oil of choice
  • ¾ to 1 cup (or to total saturation) grape seed oil
  • ¼ cup pure honey
  • ½ cup ground oatmeal (not instant)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
Process
Take a medium-sized bowl and add honey along with sugar to it. Stir to combine well. Now add in salt, in small quantities, mixing after each addition, until desired consistency is achieved. Add the oils when all the ingredients are mixed well. This scrub is to be used only for your body.

Brown Sugar Scrub for Hair

Ingredients
  • 4 tbs of brown sugar
  • 2 tbs conditioner
Process
Take a bowl, add the ingredients in it, and mix well. Shampoo hair with your regular shampoo and then apply this scrub to wet hair. Massage in a circular motion for a couple of minutes and then wash it off with shampoo. This is one of the simplest yet effective homemade recipes for your hair.
