The ingredients of a lip balm keep your lips moisturized and protected. These ingredients are harmless to your tender skin which makes this skin product absolutely safe.

The Essential Ingredients
Lip balms essentially consist of paraffin oil derived from petroleum jelly. They also consist of fats, waxes, and vegetable oils. The wax acts like a cover, while the vegetable oil softens the lips. The reason why these balms remain hard in summers is because they contain more wax than base ointment. The flavored ones are made from drop of essential oils and the colors are added through juices. Here are a few lip balm recipes that you can try at home.
