Recipe #1
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sea salt
  • ¼ cup baby oil
  • ¼ cup jojoba oil
  • A few drops of your favorite essential oil
Procedure:
  • Pour the cup of salt in a bowl.
  • Start pouring the baby oil little by little. You should add a little less than ¼ cup of oil.
  • Repeat the above process with the jojoba oil.
  • Add a few drops of the essential oil. This not only provides the fragrance for the scrub, but also provides nourishment.
  • If you feel that the scrub is too liquid, then add a little salt.
  • Gently use this scrub all over your body.
  • You may need to use some water now and again to scrub better. You could use plain water or rosewater.
  • After you are done exfoliating, gently wash off the scrub from your body with some warm water.
  • Pat your skin dry with a soft towel and apply some moisturizer.
Recipe #2
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sea salt
  • ½ cup almond oil
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 15 drops of rosemary essential oil
Procedure:
  • Pour the cup of salt in a bowl.
  • Add some sugar into the bowl and mix it up nicely.
  • Add the almond oil to the mixture, followed by rosemary oil. Mix up all the ingredients well.
  • Use the scrub to exfoliate your skin gently.
  • You might have to use water to spread the scrub on your body. Use rosewater for softer and glowing skin.
  • Once you are through with the scrub, take a warm shower and pat yourself dry with a soft towel.
  • Don't forget to moisturize your skin with a mild moisturizer.
Salt Scrub for Face #1
Ingredients:
  • 3 teaspoon rock salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • A drop or two lemon essential oil
Procedure:
  • Put the rock salt in a small bowl.
  • Add the olive oil to it and mix to make a paste.
  • Add the lemon juice and the essential oil, and mix it well.
  • Apply this paste on the face and neck, and gently scrub off all the dead skin.
  • Wash it off and pat dry the skin.
  • Apply some moisturizing face cream.
Salt Scrub for Face #2
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoon rock salt
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel powder
  • 2 teaspoon almond paste or almond oil
  • 1 teaspoon rose oil
  • A couple of drops of essential oil of your choice
Procedure:
  • Mix the salt and the orange peel powder in a small bowl.
  • Add the almond paste or oil and mix it thoroughly.
  • Add the rose oil and mix all the ingredients.
  • If you want to, add some drops of your favorite essential oil to the above scrub.
  • Apply to the face and the neck.
  • Massage gently to remove the dirt on your face and also to exfoliate it.
  • Rinse the scrub off your face and pat dry.
  • Moisturize with a nice face cream.
